Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking an early-career Compliance Analyst to serve as the project compliance expert on a portfolio of government-funded construction projects. Based in San Diego with local site travel, you will collaborate with a dedicated team in the Project Controls and Compliance department to enforce federal, state, and local wage laws and ensure accurate CPR reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred, or similar relevant work experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Careful attention to detail and reliability of output.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with federal and state contracting, labor regulations, and FAR regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Protect the organization by enforcing compliance with wage laws and PLA requirements.
• Generate, certify, and submit CPRs for Clark and trade partners.
• Manage prevailing wage document collection and review.
• Cross-check payroll submissions against project documents for proper wage payments.
• Collaborate on process improvements and issue resolution in project compliance.
• Assist with complex wage issues and investigations.
• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information.
• Support worker utilization and small business subcontracting goals.
• Resolve internal audit findings promptly.
• Manage project start-up and close-out for compliance.
• Travel to local project sites as required.
