Required: ABET‑accredited degree in civil engineering, FE exam eligibility within 6 months, Texas EIT or ability to obtain within 2 years, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent.
• FE exam passed or able to pass within 6 months of hire.
• Texas EIT license or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering team to solve design challenges and produce construction plans for local infrastructure projects.
• Use CAD/Civil 3D and other tools to display calculations and layouts for construction plans.
• Draft reports and present plans to audiences with varied backgrounds and technical knowledge.
• Estimate construction costs and quantities, perform site visits, and review submittals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
