Job summary

Bohler's Charlotte, NC office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real land development projects from concept through construction.

You will work with experienced engineers, designers, and project managers using AutoCAD Civil 3D to draft site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs, while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0–1+ years of site design and permitting experience.
• Familiar with AutoCAD Civil 3D; training provided if needed.
• EIT certification helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including commercial, residential, and mixed-use sites.
• Learn site design from concept through construction with mentors.
• Create site layouts and grading plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Review design manuals, zoning ordinances, and regulations.
• Assist with stormwater management documentation and submittals.
• Participate in Bohler Learning & Development programs.
