Bohler’s Bedford, NH office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to bring exciting land development projects to life, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1+ years of site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Motivation to take initiative and contribute to shared goals.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Partner with experienced engineers and mentors through all stages of site design.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research and interpret design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review and address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns.
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams.
• Engage in professional development and mentorship programs.
