Job summary

Bohler in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn and grow. Work with engineers, designers, and project managers on land development projects, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

You will gain experience from concept through construction, using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and collaborate with teams across commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets, laying the groundwork for a successful engineering career.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of land development projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Partner with experienced engineers and mentors to learn every stage of site design, from concept through construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research and interpret design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review and address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Participate in professional and technical training through Bohler’s Learning & Development programs.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams.
• Engage in civic, professional, and business organizations to build your network.
• Perform other responsibilities in accordance with company policies and standards
