Job summary

Bohler's Charlotte, NC office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real land development projects. You will work with engineers, designers and project managers on site planning, grading, utilities and stormwater management, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

You'll collaborate across teams, use AutoCAD Civil 3D, and participate in Bohler's learning and development programs to advance your technical and professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects (commercial, residential, industrial, mixed-use).
• Learn site design from concept through construction with mentors.
• Create site layouts, grading plans, and utilities with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and regulations.
• Address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support stormwater reports and construction submittals.
• Participate in Bohler Learning & Development programs.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with teams.
