Job summary

Bohler’s Wilmington, DE office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn and grow. You will work alongside engineers and project managers on land development projects, from site planning through construction, using AutoCAD Civil 3D for layouts and grading plans.

You'll contribute to projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets while building your engineering career through mentorship and formal training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including site planning and grading.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and PMs from concept through construction.
• Create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Review design manuals and jurisdictional regulations and address comments.
• Support stormwater reports, submittals, and project coordination.
