Bohler's Ridgewood, NJ office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and contribute to site design and development projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use sites.

You will work with mentors, use AutoCAD Civil 3D for layouts and grading plans, and engage in training and professional development to build a rewarding engineering career in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Motivation to take initiative and contribute to shared goals.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of land development projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Partner with experienced engineers and mentors to learn every stage of site design, from concept through construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research and interpret design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review and address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams.
