Job summary

Bohler’s Tampa, FL office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real land development projects from planning to construction.

You will work with mentors, use AutoCAD Civil 3D, and gain hands-on experience across site design, grading, utilities, and stormwater management while developing your professional skills and earning mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Collaborate with engineers and mentors to learn every stage of site design from concept through construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Review regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and submittals.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams.
