Bohler’s Ridgewood, NJ office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to bring exciting land development projects to life, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

You will contribute to projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use sites, laying the groundwork for a rewarding civil engineering career through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-1+ years of site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not proficient).
• Strong communication and collaborative approach to teamwork.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects across commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Partner with engineers and mentors to learn site design from concept through construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
