Job summary

Bohler’s Rochester, NY office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) who is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact. You will work with engineers, designers, and project managers to bring land development projects to life, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

You will contribute to projects for brands across commercial, residential, and mixed-use markets, while laying the groundwork for a rewarding engineering career through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D; training provided if not proficient.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of land development projects including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Learn every stage of site design from concept through construction with experienced mentors.
• Create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Assist with regulatory comments and project redesigns as needed.
