Three Notch Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Engineer I to support our Civil Practice. You will assist with design computations, plans, reports, and cost estimates for civil projects under a licensed PE.

This entry-level role emphasizes collaboration, quality deliverables, and growing technical proficiency toward Engineer-in-Training licensure. Ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering and 0–2 years of experience, with strong communication and CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• Zero to two years of related civil engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration preferred.
• Valid driver''s license and ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client communication and attend meetings, including occasional evening meetings.
• Use CAD software to prepare plans, computations, reports, and estimates.
• Assist with reports, specifications, construction documents, permits, and designs.
• Work under supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer to develop increasing technical proficiency.
