Three Notch Group is seeking an Engineer I to support our Civil Practice in delivering accurate, high-quality engineering and design documents that are constructable and aligned with each project’s requirements and critical success factors. Working under the close and immediate supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer, this entry-level role will assist with design computations, plans, reports, specifications, permit documents, quantity estimates, and construction cost estimates for a variety of civil engineering projects.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and detail-oriented civil engineering professional who communicates effectively, approaches problems thoughtfully, and is eager to build technical proficiency and increasing independence while serving clients and supporting project teams.
Success in this role means consistently producing accurate, constructable, and well-coordinated engineering deliverables while meeting assigned quality, schedule, and budget expectations. The Engineer I will communicate effectively with project leaders, clients, and team members; apply sound technical judgment; and demonstrate accountability for assigned work.
The successful Engineer I will steadily expand proficiency with civil engineering principles, design software, construction documents, and project delivery processes. They will actively pursue professional development and Engineer-in-Training and Professional Engineer licensure while contributing positively to client relationships, teamwork, and the continued growth of the Civil Practice.
