Three Notch Group is seeking an Engineer IV to lead the Civil Site Practice in Charlotte, NC. You will serve as a senior technical and client leader, delivering constructible site-development and municipal projects while guiding junior staff and coordinating with leadership.

The role emphasizes client relationship management, project leadership, and collaboration with regional teams to drive growth and quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of experience.
• Current registration as a Professional Engineer in North Carolina is required.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact and build long-term relationships.
• Attend client and public meetings, including occasional evenings.
• Lead business development by identifying opportunities and assisting with proposals.
• Direct and review engineering design work for site-development and municipal projects.
• Lead preparation of reports, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff.
