Job summary

Saliense is seeking a Junior Business Process Reengineering Specialist to support rapid operational assessments. You will map current-state processes, identify performance gaps, perform root-cause analyses, and draft recommendations for a future-state operating model and process redesign.

You will help develop stakeholder interview guides, synthesize findings from interviews, and contribute to the Enterprise Organizational Health Assessment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business process reengineering, process improvement, or management consulting, preferably supporting federal agencies.
• Experience documenting current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") processes using standard methods and tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
• Experience running gap analyses and root-cause analyses, and turning findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Experience designing stakeholder interview guides and questionnaires, helping facilitate interviews and synthesizing qualitative findings into themes.
• Experience supporting operating model design, organizational assessments, or culture and organizational health assessments.

Responsibilities

• Map and analyze cross-cutting processes such as operational incident reporting and sector engagement.
• Identify performance gaps and root causes; draft recommendations for future-state models and process redesign.
• Develop stakeholder interview questionnaires and synthesize interviews into coherent themes.
• Support enterprise organizational health assessment and benchmarking with other organizations.
