Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a data-driven professional to analyze operational data and derive actionable insights for stakeholders. You will act as the data and analytics contact across multiple projects, guiding partners on product performance and improvement opportunities.

You will develop metrics, build ETL/ELT pipelines with SQL Server and Databricks, and create dashboards in Power BI. A background in NLP/LLMs and collaboration with cross-functional teams is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field or related area.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency with SQL Server / SQL / T-SQL.
• Hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark experience, preferably PySpark.
• Foundational Python or R for data analysis and ML workflows.
• Experience building Power BI reports, datasets, and DAX measures.
• Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow integration.
• Basic familiarity with NLP and Large Language Models.
• Ability to translate mission needs into data requirements and outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive insights for stakeholders and business partners.
• Serve as the data and analytics point of contact across multiple projects and guide partners on product performance and solution maturity.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights on operations and project data.
• Develop and implement new metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs.
• Code to segment populations from large datasets and output files per specs.
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts.
