Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a data analytics professional to analyze operational data, build KPIs, and deliver actionable insights for multiple projects. You will guide partners on performance, develop ETL/ELT pipelines, and create dashboards in Power BI while leveraging Databricks, Spark, and ML concepts.

Responsibilities include data integration from multiple sources, data quality, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate mission needs into analytical outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access).
• Working knowledge of SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL, including querying and joins.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark (preferably PySpark).
• Foundational programming skills in Python or R.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, data quality checks, and version control.
• Experience building visual analytics with Power BI (reports, datasets, DAX).
• Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate for workflow integration.
• Basic familiarity with NLP and Large Language Models.
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and translate mission needs into data outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive insights for stakeholders.
• Act as point of contact for data usage across projects and guide partners on product performance.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights on operations and project data.
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts as needed.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks.
• Develop metrics, functions, and scripts as KPIs as needed.
• Create dashboards and analytical products using Power BI with semantic models.
• Support low-code solutions by integrating data into Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Prepare and analyze unstructured data for text-focused use cases.
• Demonstrate familiarity with LLMs and assist seniors in implementing capabilities.
