Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Junior Biostatistician to turn data into actionable insights for military readiness, including ETL/ELT pipelines with SQL Server and Databricks. You will transform raw data into predictive analytics using stats, data mining, and machine learning on complex datasets.

You will develop visual analytics in Power BI or Streamlit, integrate data with Power Platform, and contribute to NLP/LLM initiatives. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Proficiency with SQL Server/SQL/T-SQL.
• Hands-on Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark).
• Foundational Python or R for analysis.
• Experience building visual analytics with Power BI.
• Familiarity with NLP and Large Language Models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive actionable insights.
• Serve as data/analytical point of contact across projects and guide stakeholders.
• Analyze data, identify trends, provide insights on operations and projects.
• Develop and implement new metrics, functions, and KPIs.
• Code to segment populations from large datasets and ensure data quality.
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts.
• Develop ad hoc tools to support analytics needs.
• Learn emerging technologies and systems for company initiatives.
• Support team communication and strategy implementation.
• Engage in project management activities.
