Job summary

Maximus seeks a Junior Biostatistician to collect, engineer, and analyze data supporting military activities, including personnel readiness and operational planning. You will build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks, perform statistical analysis, and create visual analytics with Power BI or Streamlit.

You will work with NLP/LLMs, support text-based AI use cases, ensure data quality, and collaborate with teams to deliver actionable insights for readiness missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced methods to analyze operational data and derive meaningful insights for stakeholders.
• Act as data/analytical point of contact across multiple projects and guide product performance improvements.
• Analyze extracted data to identify trends and provide insights on operations and project data.
• Develop and implement new KPIs and scripts as needed.
• Code to segment populations from large datasets and output files per specs.
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts.
