Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to support acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD.

A Secret clearance is required, with potential Top Secret clearance in the future, and US citizenship is required. The role is full-time on-site, with responsibilities including requirements development, vendor coordination, integration, and participating in SE reviews and agile processes.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience performing software or systems engineering activities.
• Knowledge of avionics systems.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Conduct analysis of software defects.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity subject matter experts.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
