Job summary

RADIX Construction, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Accounts Payable Clerk to support processing invoices, recording payments, and maintaining vendor records in our Little Rock office.

You will help ensure timely payments and accurate bookkeeping while learning our procedures. No prior accounting experience is required beyond a high school diploma; strong organizational skills and proficiency with Excel/Outlook are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn accounting procedures and software.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process incoming invoices and payment requests.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Enter invoice and payment information accurately into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
• Assist with preparing and processing vendor payments in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare checks, payment documents, and related correspondence for mailing when required.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies for resolution.
• Follow up on missing invoices, payment information, and account discrepancies.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical financial records.
• Assist with tracking payment due dates and ensuring invoices are processed on time.
• Respond to basic vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
• Prepare accounts payable reports and assist with routine accounting tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and company information.
• Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
