Job summary

Rieth-Riley Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an entry level accounts payable clerk to join our team. This role offers an opportunity for advancement within the department and exposure to multiple areas of equipment-related accounts payable.

You will manage the equipment AP inbox, assist with invoice coding, and support document management, while collaborating with area offices and other team members to ensure timely processing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Good organizational skills.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, multi-tasker with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is critical in this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage Equipment A/P inbox: print invoices, match packing slips, code, and route for processing; assist in coding & entering invoices for R&M, shops, plants, and rentals.
• Document management: scanning and filing.
• Cross-train with other equipment office functions.
• Manage annual renewal of on-road vehicle license plates.
• Additional duties as defined by the equipment office manager or equipment manager.
