Responsibilities

• Perform borrower mortgage account audits and identify discrepancies.
• Reconcile general ledger and cash accounts daily and monthly.
• Prepare, record, and reconcile daily deposits across multiple accounting systems.
• Process and balance merchant credit card payments.
• Support accounts payable activities, including invoicing and payments.
• Assist with daily mortgage loan wire transactions.
• Support month-end accounting activities and special projects.
• Deliver professional service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

While this role supports mortgage-related accounting functions, previous mortgage industry experience is not required.Job DescriptionThe Junior Accounting Specialist provides accounting and administrative support to the Accounting Department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions.
