This entry-level role offers exposure to accounts payable, cash reconciliations, and wire transaction coordination within banking and financial services.

The ideal candidate has an Associate degree or equivalent, solid Excel skills, and strong attention to detail. Training provided; no mortgage experience required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 0-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or administrative experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform borrower mortgage account audits and identify discrepancies.
• Reconcile general ledger and cash accounts daily and monthly.
• Prepare, record, and reconcile daily deposits across multiple accounting systems.
• Process and balance merchant credit card payments.
• Support accounts payable activities, including invoicing and payments.
• Assist with daily mortgage loan wire transactions.
• Support month-end accounting activities and special projects.
• Deliver professional service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
