Claims Management Resources, Inc. (CMR) is seeking an Accountant I for a full-time, entry-level position. The role supports the subrogation-focused operations by processing payments, invoices, and journal entries and by assisting with client reporting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year in accounting or finance, with strong data entry and MS Excel/Outlook/Word skills, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1 year of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• One year of experience in an Accounting or Finance department is essential.
• Excellent data entry with attention to detail; strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities; reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Process daily payments and deposits; post into multiple systems.
• Prepare client reports and invoices according to client specifications.
• Code and enter invoices, check requests, and journal entries into the general ledger.
• Research and resolve basic discrepancies in payments, deposits, invoices, and accounts receivable/payable.
• Support month-end activities and other general accounting tasks as needed.
