Job summary

ZT Systems in Secaucus, NJ seeks an Entry-Level Accountant to support daily bank reconciliations, journal entries, and GL analysis. You will maintain month-end schedules and assist with year-end audit documentation in a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in accounting with 1–3 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliation.
• Maintain schedules for month end closing.
• Prepare and enter adjusting journal entries, prepaid and accrual as needed.
• GL account reconciliation and analysis for subsidiary companies.
• Assist outside accounting firm with reconciliation and work papers.
• Support staff with invoices coding and GL coding.
• Maintain records for interim and year-end audit.
