Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be bondable.
• Good with numbers and analytical acumen.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to interact with team members courteously and professionally.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and reconciling corporate general ledger accounts daily.
• Resolving issues with daily transactional posting to the general ledger.
• Posting of recurring monthly journal entries.
• Organization, filing, and record retention within accounting department.
• Performing the accounts payable functions of the accounting department.
• Auditing and posting of credit union credit card accounts.
• Adding fixed assets and prepaids to sub-ledger and posting depreciation/ amortization.
• Maintaining internal controls over accounts payable and corporate cards.
• Monitoring cash flow and daily banking activity.
• Coordinating with compliance to file escheatment reports.
• Preparing expenditure documents for board review.
• Assembling records for outside auditors and examiners.
• Assisting team members as needed.
