Job summary

QXO is seeking a results-driven Outside Sales / Account Manager to manage an assigned book of customers in Florida, drive wallet share, and grow relationships.

You will conduct regular customer visits and job-site meetings, partner with branch operations and inside sales to deliver a high-quality experience, and coordinate with manufacturers to support project needs.

Travel within the territory is required, and Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in outside sales or account management.
• Experience in building materials or wholesale distribution preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow an assigned book of existing customers through wallet share expansion.
• Execute account plans focused on retention and incremental growth.
• Conduct regular visits, job-site meetings, and check-ins to identify needs.
• Collaborate with branch operations, inside sales, and customer support to deliver a high-quality experience.
• Support the transition of newly acquired customers into managed accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities through referrals and existing relationships.
• Coordinate with manufacturer partners for product education and project needs.
• Negotiate pricing within established company guidelines.
• Use CRM and sales tools to manage activity and pipeline.
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory.
