Worcester, MA | In Office | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

$45,000-$50,000 base + commission

I'm hiring someone to join our team in Worcester and learn the recruiting business from the ground up.

You do not need recruiting experience. I'm much more interested in work ethic, curiosity, competitiveness, personality and whether you're comfortable talking to people.

This role starts in research and sourcing. You'll learn how to understand the jobs we're working on, research companies and candidates, and use tools like LinkedIn, Indeed and ZoomInfo to identify people who could be a strong match.

Then comes the people part.

You'll learn how to write messages, make connections, pick up the phone, ask good questions, create interest and follow up.

If you don't like calling people or you're looking for a job where everything can be handled through email, this probably isn't for you.

But this also isn't a 100-calls-a-day boiler-room sales job. I want you to understand who you're calling, why you're calling them and how to have a real conversation.

As you develop, you'll work alongside Managers and Senior Recruiters and begin taking on more of the recruiting process: deeper interviews, candidate management, client communication, interview prep and debriefs, references, offers, onboarding and eventually closing deals.

Most people who succeed should be able to grow out of the entry-level sourcing seat in roughly 6-12 months, depending on performance.

There is a sales component to recruiting, and there are ups and downs. Candidates ghost you. Deals fall apart. Then someone you've been working with gets hired and suddenly there's a nice commission check attached to it.

That's the business.

I'm looking for someone who can handle that. Someone coachable, proactive and curious who doesn't need a script for every situation and can come back the next day when something doesn't go their way.

Two people on our team started in this type of role and developed into successful producers. There is a real career here if you want one.
