Job summary

Hyatt is recruiting for a Corporate Management Trainee with a focus on sales and hotel operations in the United States. You will participate in a 6-week rotation through multiple hotel departments and an 18-week concentration in Sales to build a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations.

The program includes Guest Relations training, Events and Sales modules, and essential computer skills training, paving the way toward leadership roles within Hyatt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Nine months of relative industry work experience.
• Leadership and involvement in campus activities.
• Positive references from two previous work experiences.
• Continuous authorization to work in the U.S.
• Geographic flexibility.

The Sales Corporate Management Training Program provides a comprehensive, rotational training schedule forindividuals with an interest in the Sales function of hospitality, specifically those who ultimately wish to pursue Associate Director and Director of Sales positions within the hotel. The training program will include a rotational schedule through Engineering, Finance, Food & Beverage, Human Resources and Sales in addition to the concentration spent directly in the Events departments. Trainees will complete Guest Relations training, Events and Sales training, function book, and computer skills training.

The salary range for this position is $51,800.00-$74,300.00. The final salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and the geographic location where the work will be performed. Compensation will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local wage requirements, including applicable minimum wage requirements.
