Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Successful completion of the Maine CJ Academy Pre-Service Training is required.
• Eligibility for the Basic Maine Judicial Marshals Training Program within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides security for judges, court staff, and the public.
• Maintains security and monitors court proceedings.
• Enforces Maine laws within the courthouse and conducts appropriate arrests.
