Elevate is seeking a Junior Commercial Attorney to support the in-house legal team and business clients, delivering deal support and improving contracting processes.

You will work independently on matters while collaborating with Elevate colleagues and the customer's in-house team to drive efficiency and accuracy in contracts.

The role emphasizes NDA review, template development, and building robust contracting playbooks and tools to scale customer services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal practice providing high-volume transactional support for business customers.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including NDAs.
• Experience in customer support engagements.

Responsibilities

Job description

Elevate is recruiting a Junior Commercial Attorney to work closely with in-house legal department and their internal business customers providing deal support and participate in projects to improve our customer's contractual infrastructure, workflow, and processes. You will work independently on assigned matters but will also work collaboratively with other members of the Elevate team as well as the customer's in-house team.

This role must work MST/Arizona Time zone.

Specifically, you will

• Review NDA contracts and negotiate acceptable alternatives, working from templates and tools that you will help create.
• Facilitate escalation and resolution of contract issues.
• Update or draft templates, negotiation playbooks, and other contract infrastructure tools.
• Capture various pieces of information related to the contracts or matters that you support.
• Participate or manage customer projects to improve contracting efficiency, cost effectiveness, and knowledge sharing.
• Create reports and make presentations to customer and internal colleagues.
• Participate on task forces that strive to improve how Elevate services its customers and enable our team to develop and grow.

Experience

• 2+ years of legal practice experience providing high volume transactional support for business customers, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly NDAs.
• Excellent track record in previous customer support/customer service engagements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in at least one state.

Compensation

• US national salary range: $70,000 - $90,000, based on job-related skills, experience, level, and location. In addition, Elevate offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
