Job summary

Elevate seeks an eDiscovery Analyst to join the team in a hybrid role at the Weehawken, NJ office, combining three in-office days with two remote days. The role centers on the first-line review of documents and applying review guidelines to determine relevance for cases, investigations, or regulatory inquiries.

The candidate will analyze large volumes of litigation materials, perform QC checks, and escalate issues promptly while adhering to Elevate's SOPs.

Qualifications

Job description

Elevate is seeking an eDiscovery Analyst to join our team. The eDiscovery Analyst typically comprise of the first stage (first-line review or FLR) of the document review process.

This position is a hybrid position in the Weehawken, NJ office, working three days in office and two days remotely.

Specifically, the eDiscovery Analyst will

• Analyze and interpret documents and classify them based on their potential relevance to particular legal or factual issues, cases, investigations, or other proceedings.
• Review and QC huge volumes of complex litigation documents with highest productivity and accuracy.
• Identify and assess the impact of application of review guidelines on documents.
• Ensure adherence to Elevate's standard operating procedures on projects.
• Make timely escalations.

Skills for Success

• Possess a solid understanding of court systems (typically of the US, but potentially of other common law jurisdictions such as the UK, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia as well).
• Possess nuanced discovery/disclosure concepts, including as these concepts might apply in the context of regulatory inquiries in various common law jurisdictions.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with eDiscovery tools, queries searches, and/or SQL.

Compensation

• US national pay rate: $21/hour. In addition, Elevate offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
