Job summary
CoolSys is seeking an experienced refrigeration installation technician to join our team in Houston. You will install refrigeration systems following customer specifications, codes, and best piping practices, including electrical wiring as needed.
You’ll support by piping, hanging coils, and assisting foremen on supermarket refrigeration projects. The role requires 5+ years in construction with hands-on refrigeration and electrical experience, EPA Type II certification, and strong
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of experience in construction preferred, with hands-on field experience in commercial refrigeration, electrical, or fixtures construction.
- EPA Certification (Type II) required.
- Experience with copper brazing and market remodeling helpful.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to wire installations.
Responsibilities
- Install refrigeration systems per customer specs and codes.
- Pipe cooler boxes and refrigeration cases; wiring as required.
- Install pipe hangers as directed by foreman; weld and slip-hose copper pipes.
- Install and service supermarket refrigeration systems or remodels.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
