Job summary

CoolSys is seeking skilled tradespeople for refrigeration and HVAC installations in Houston. You will support construction by piping cooler boxes, hanging pipe supports, welding copper, and assisting foremen on supermarket refrigeration projects.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in construction with refrigeration/electrical experience, and EPA Type II certification. Strong blueprint-reading and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in construction with refrigeration/electrical experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II) required.
• Knowledge of blueprints for refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on construction job by piping cooler boxes and refrigeration cases, including electrical wiring.
• Provide installation of pipe hangers as directed by the foreman.
• Provide construction support by welding and slip-hosing copper pipes, and assist the foreman as needed.
• Provide support by hanging cooler box coils and installing new supermarket refrigeration systems or remodeling existing systems.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
