Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Journeyman 1-Refrigeration to install refrigeration systems per customer specs, code, and piping practices across various stores and projects. This role requires hands-on field work in commercial refrigeration and electrical installation with a focus on safety and quality.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, EPA Type II certification, and 5+ years of experience in construction or commercial refrigeration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with trade/technical training.
• EPA Certification Type II required for work with refrigerants.
• Minimum 5+ years in construction or commercial refrigeration projects.
• Experience reading blueprints and following electrical/plumbing plans.

Responsibilities

• Install refrigeration systems per customer specs and codes.
• Pipe cooler boxes and refrigeration cases; perform electrical wiring as needed.
• Hang evaporator coils and install overhead hangers.
• Read blueprints and install piping for refrigeration equipment.
