Position Summary

We're hiring Licensed Journeyman Plumbers or Master Plumbers who can independently manage jobs from rough-in to final finish. Most of our work is commercial service, light new construction, and tenant improvements, with occasional residential jobs.

You’ll be expected to deliver high-quality results, communicate effectively with field leadership, and represent Hassig Companies with professionalism and pride. Core Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and light industrial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and job specifications
• Layout and install water supply, drainage, gas, and vent systems in compliance with the Michigan Plumbing Code
• Diagnose plumbing issues and make timely, code-compliant repairs with minimal supervision
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and uphold a strong standard of workmanship
• Use field software (iPad) to document job notes, materials, and hours accurately
• Collaborate with supervisors and project coordinators to ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met

Minimum Requirements:

• Journeyman or Master Plumber License – State of Michigan (Required)
• 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Ability to work independently and supervise apprentices when needed
• Professional communication skills and high level of personal accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial TI or service experience preferred
• Familiarity with inspection processes and coordination with GCs
• Backflow certification (a plus but not required)
