Job Description:

The Journeyman Plumber must be willing to relocate to Kwajalein Island, Marshall Islands. This position is not remote.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Journeyman Plumber to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Installing water systems, drain waste, and venting for plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, tubs/showers, toilets, etc.
2. Troubleshooting basic issues with plumbing systems during or after installation.
3. Using a variety of power tools, hand tools, and measuring devices/meters.
4. Performing daily tasks such as water heater replacement and repair, fixture replacement, drain clearing, and sewer machine operation.
5. Monitoring, identifying, and responding promptly to equipment malfunctions.
6. Responding to emergency service calls promptly.
7. Reading and complying with work orders for service, modification, or installation.
8. Completing paperwork properly.
9. Working effectively with a team.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes.
2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
4. Journeyman Plumber certification.
5. Knowledge and ability to manage projects through planning, prioritizing, and applying skills and tools to meet project requirements.
6. Ability to work effectively with others.
7. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other office software.
8. Motivated, flexible, and positive attitude.
9. Proper and safe use of tools and equipment.
10. Effective communication skills, both individually and in a team environment.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

1. Tool belts and tools (recommended).
2. OSHA Safety 30-Hour Certification.
3. Journeyman Plumber License (preferred).
4. Backflow Certification (preferred).
5. Minimum of 10 years of experience in plumbing.
6. Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
7. Valid US passport.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, delivering resources to US government clients globally in areas such as defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental services.

Salary Range:

$86,700.00 - $151,700.00
