Join Our Team as a Technical Manager - Electrical at Walbridge

We are seeking a skilled Technical Manager - Electrical to join Walbridge. In this role, you will serve as the technical expert for electrical discipline, ensuring all construction activities adhere to professional standards. Your responsibilities include solving complex technical problems, managing equipment startup and commissioning (V-Start), implementing the project’s 4-phase quality control plan, and overseeing field construction of electrical subcontractors to ensure schedule adherence and conformance to contract documents.

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop critical path schedules for MEP, coordinate with subcontractors and design teams to resolve conflicts
• Manage equipment procurement, track deliveries, and assist with bidding electrical trades
• Oversee startup and pretesting of electrical systems, coordinate quality control and commissioning activities
• Coordinate and review mechanical and electrical submittals and track critical path construction

Qualifications

To qualify, you should have:

• A 4-year engineering degree or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of extensive electrical/mechanical discipline experience
• Leadership and scheduling capabilities for MEP activities
• Preconstruction and procurement experience preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and possess a valid US driver’s license and passport
