Job summary

MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure is seeking an experienced ironworker for immediate placement on active projects. You will raise, connect, and position structural-steel members, read blueprints, and adhere to MIC Health and Safety programs.

Expect long shifts, extensive travel to project sites, and a competitive benefits package. Responsibilities include hoisting setup, alignment, bolting, and welding, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related ironworker experience or training
• NCCER certification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and safety rules
• Maintain safety and quality on site at all times

Responsibilities

• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural-steel members
• Fasten steel members to hoist cables and guide into position
• Signal hoist operator and align members using lines and drift pins
• Bolt and weld members, perform alterations with welding equipment
• Travel to different job sites as required and maintain professional appearance
