Job summary

MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure is seeking an Ironworker for our Abernathy, TX project. You will join a multi-craft team constructing structural-steel frameworks, setting girders and welding as required, while following all safety policies and site procedures.

The role involves up to 50 hours per week with potential for travel to project sites, and requires 4+ years of ironworker experience. We offer comprehensive benefits, 401k, ESPP, and competitive hourly pay around $32.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience in ironworking or equivalent
• NCCER Certification/License preferred
• Ability to travel up to 90% as required on project sites

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural-steel members
• Fasten steel members to cable of hoist using chain, cable or rope
• Signal worker operating hoisting equipment to lift and place steel member
• Guide member using tab line or ride on member to guide into position
• Pull, push or pry steel members into position while supported by hoisting device
• Bolt aligned members to keep them in position until permanently bolted or welded
• Cut and weld steel members as needed during modifications
