Job summary

LPR Construction is seeking a Journeyman Ironworker to perform structural iron and steel erection on projects across the US. You will work under supervision to complete tasks in a timely, quality manner, following blueprints and supervisor directions.

Start date is October. The role includes per-diem and travel pay, medical insurance, paid vacation and holidays after one year, and an 80-hour payout at the second anniversary. EOE/Vet/Disability.

Qualifications

• Experience bolting structural members per blueprints and supervisor directions.
• Ability to weld 3G and 4G positions.
• Rig structural-steel and hoist with chains, cables, or cranes.
• Field fabrication and assembly of metal parts per blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, complete tasks related to structural iron and steel erection.
• Work safely with PPE; use harness and lanyard for fall protection.
• Assist with bolting, aligning, and positioning structural members.
• Inspect and prepare components for installation and fit-up.
