Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an experienced ironworker to join our field team. The role involves raising, placing, and connecting girders and other structural-steel members to form completed structures. You will set up hoisting equipment, fasten members, and guide operations on site.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Participate in daily toolbox meetings and uphold safety practices.
• Ability to perform arithmetic and unit conversions for weight and measurements.
• Demonstrate precision in aligning and bolting structural members.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with company and safety policies.
• Set up hoisting equipment for lifting structural members.
• Fasten steel members to hoist cables securely.
• Signal and guide hoisting operations for accurate placement.
• Bolt, weld, and align members for final assembly.
• Travel to different job sites as required.
