Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an experienced Ironworker to raise, place, and connect structural-steel members on industrial construction sites. You will set up hoisting equipment, bolt, weld, and align steel components while complying with safety policies.

Expect a 50-hour week, potential travel up to 90%, and competitive compensation including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and ESPP. NCCER certification preferred; 4+ years of ironworker experience required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Ironworker role.
• NCCER Certification/License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural-steel members.
• Fasten steel members to hoist cables using chain, cable or rope.
• Signal hoisting operator to lift and place steel members.
• Guide members into position using tag lines or by riding on the member.
• Bolt and secure aligned members; weld where required.
• Travel to different jobsites as needed.
