Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team on heavy industrial projects. You will read plans, weld symbols, and follow WPS to perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, and GMAW welds across structural and piping installations.

The role requires up to 90% travel to project sites, working in varied conditions, and a 50-hour workweek with safety as a top priority. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, weld symbols, and other instructions to perform tasks.
• Follow project specifications and WPS.
• Perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, GMAW welds as required by project needs.
• Field install welds on structural components, duct work, and piping as needed.
• Prepare welding surfaces per procedures and select proper fillers.
