Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or with related experience.
• Strong working knowledge for the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment to maintain roads and rights-of-way.
• Load gravel, dirt and sand, and grade roads.
• Trench and construct ditches for culverts and pipes.
• Check and maintain all fluid levels and lubrication.
• Train employees in the safe operation of equipment.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify defects.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, and resources needed.
• Review subordinate's work for contract compliance and corrective actions.
