Job summary

Operate a variety of vehicles and large heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade material on construction sites for TIC - The Industrial Company. Responsibilities include road maintenance, loading materials, trenching for utilities, and ensuring equipment is properly fueled and lubricated.

The role requires the ability to work in a construction environment, adapt to outdoor weather conditions, and comply with safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred based on experience.
• Must understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Proficient in safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and measurement tools.
• Strong working knowledge, skills and abilities for the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment while performing maintenance on roads and rights‑of‑way.
• Load gravel, dirt and sand; smooth and grade roads; spread rock and gravel.
• Trench and construct ditches for pipes; remove silt and debris.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify defects and maintain fluid levels and lubrication.
