Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator to support road and rights-of-way maintenance. You will operate machinery to excavate, grade, load materials, and assist with trenching and piping projects.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent, strong safety awareness, and the ability to understand and follow instructions. The role requires physical stamina and availability for irregular hours as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade material.
• Load and spread gravel, dirt and rock; prepare surfaces for paving or repairs.
• Trench and install culverts and pipes; maintain site drainage and grading.
• Inspect machinery fluids and lubrication; report issues to supervisor.
• Instruct and train crew on safe operation and job techniques when needed.
• Observe safety rules and project requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
