Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy‑duty tractors, and trailers, with diesel and gasoline propulsion. You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.

The role requires an active driver’s license and the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, with various schedule patterns. Tools are required, and CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license required.
• Experience with diesel/gasoline propulsion systems.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Personal hand tools required to perform job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a diverse fleet of delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions and power tools as needed.
• Meet DOT requirements for the job assignment and ensure safety.
