Job summary

UPS is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service delivery vehicles, heavy tractors, and trailers from multiple manufacturers, working on diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems.

You will diagnose electrical and engine control systems, use scan tools and PCs, and maintain a personal tool set. Shift schedules vary by location and require reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive mechanical systems and diagnostics.
• Own a full set of hand tools and able to use diagnostic equipment.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a diverse fleet: delivery vehicles, tractors, trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/engine control systems.
• Meet DOT requirements and ensure safety and compliance.
• Work variable shifts as needed by location.
